So....I have an obsession. Lipbalms. I have 40 including the ones that tint my lips. If you do not include tints then I have 18. Here are reviews on some of my favourites
EOS
I have three eos in total: raspberry pomegranate, blueberry acai and honeysuckle honeydew.
My oldest is honeysuckle honeydew. I purchased that in Harvey Nichols in the brief period of time in which they sold them for £7 each. The other two I received in a swap. My favourite is blueberry acai. It smells of sweet blueberry pie and moisturises really well! My next favourite is raspberry pomegranate. It smells of artificial raspberry or raspberry sweets. It moisturises quite well but out of all of them, works the least well. Honeysuckle honeydew is my least favourite, I think that's because I have had it for so long that I am bored of it but I don't really know. It smells of sweet melon and moisturises amazingly!
BLISTEX
Before buying these two days ago, I had never tried the Blistex brand lipbalms but I could tell within the first few uses that they were amazing. I use the pot lipbalm just before bed or just after I wake up. The stick I use during the day. The pot tingles my lips when I put on and smells quite medicated, which I personally don't mind. If you don't really like scent at all you won't like any of the lipbalms that I mention. The stick smells EXACTLY like rasberry lemonade, which I absolutely love. Both balms are clear and are really nice and moisturising. The stick cost £1.75 and the pot £2.59.
BABY LIPS
I have eight baby lips, all of the ones available in the uk and two of the u.s. ones, grape vine and the strike a rose electro. My faves are peach kiss, strike a rose, grape vine and cherry me. You can see the colours above. The electro is VERY pigmented and the peach kiss one is quite sheer. The other two are simply like tinted lipbalms. Out of the two I would say grape vine is more pigmented. I hate pink punch as it's not at all wearable as it is a weirdly pigmented barbie pink, not at all something I could pull off! The clear ones I don't really like as they are based on petrolatum (petrolium jelly main ingredient) which will make your llips feel soft and supple a few minutes after but in the long run dry out your lips, requiring you to reapply lip balm constantly.
